Get Ready With Me Ft. More Drugstore Finds
Updated: Jan 22
Funny story- I was on my way to Illinois for Christmas and realized...I forgot my big ole' makeup bag UGH! SO, I made my way to the closest Wal Mart for an emergency makeup run. Didn't want to drop a ton of $$ knowing I just needed it to last me a few days, but turns out I really like a few of these products- no wasting over here!
I have been using the Fenty Beauty soft matte liquid foundation. This gives me full coverage with a lightweight feel. Doesn't feel cakey- and since I have normal to oily skin, the soft matte compliments my skin type.
One of my emergency buys was the Fit Me concealer by Mayebelline, shade ivory. It blends nicely and even after I got my makeup bag back I have continued to use it! and for under $6?!! Love that even more.
I've shared it before- but here is the bronzer I use! Haven't used anything else for a whole year so YES I recommend. I don't like bronzer that has shimmer- so I love the matte look of this bronzer. There is a shimmer option if you do prefer that! This is also what I use for my eyeshadow!
EYEBROWS!!! This is kid of a new thing for me- I have started to fill mine in just a tad! I also top them off with a little bit of brown/black mascara. Both products I use are from the drugstore!!
NYX brow pencil- https://www.ulta.com/micro-brow-pencil?productId=xlsImpprod12011193
Mascara for brows (color black brown)- https://www.target.com/p/l-oreal-paris-telescopic-original-mascara/-/A-13667791?preselect=12387911#lnk=sametab
Both eyeliner and mascara I use is from the drugstore as well! If I had to pick one thing I use that EVERYONE should have is the Loreal Telescopic Mascara. Swear by it. It is clump free, lengthens and I will even us it before I use another volumizing mascara if I really want my lashes to pop.
Liquid Eyeliner, found a 2 pack for under $6!!- https://www.target.com/p/revlon-colorstay-liquid-liner-251-blackest-black-16oz-2pk/-/A-49178891
When I'm feeling extra:
LAST, setting powder. Don't leave the house before setting! I always use a damp beauty blender under my eyes when blending my concealer to keep from creasing all day long.
Setting Translucent powder; full size is about $40 but has lasted me a YEAR AND A HALF! Yes. crazy. - https://www.ulta.com/translucent-loose-setting-powder-original?productId=pimprod2012342
